This carved maple wood four-column pedestal embodies the timeless charm of classical design
, capturing the rich aesthetics of the Baroque and Renaissance Revival styles.
Reflecting traditional European turned-wood craftsmanship of the late 19th century,
it features a sturdy structure supported by four graceful spiral-turned columns.
Beneath the top, an inverted spinning-top-shaped turned wood ornament echoes the central detail of the base.
The base is equally refined, adorned with distinctive carved decorative motifs.
Carefully restored by us, the warm natural luster of the wood has been beautifully revived,
further highlighting its refined craftsmanship and timeless classical character.
