This oak sideboard, blending Eastern and Western aesthetics, dates to approximately the 1940s–1950s. Its elegant proportions are enhanced by a white marble top, adding depth and refinement to the overall appearance.
The glass doors on both sides are decorated with hand-painted black lacquer panels, depicting figures imbued with a strong Oriental character. These decorative panels reflect Europe’s fascination with Eastern art during this period. Set against the dark lacquered surface, the golden detailing appears especially delicate and finely executed.
Subtle curves in the legs and base, combined with restrained metal accents, lend the piece a sense of lightness and elegance, preventing it from feeling visually heavy. The central section features multiple drawers fitted with original metal handles, while the side compartments offer ample storage space.
