Designed by French designer Jules Leleu (1883–1961),
this armchair was crafted in beechwood around the 1940s.
The structure is solid and well-proportioned, with clean and graceful lines that reflect the transitional style from Art Deco to Modernism.
The seat and backrest have been newly upholstered in velvet fabric, offering a soft and refined touch,
and accented with white piping that highlights the geometric contours of the chair.
The interlacing lines of the backrest create a gentle rhythm within its geometric form,
while the elegant proportions of the legs and armrests balance decorative appeal with lightness.
Even in a contemporary setting, this piece continues to radiate timeless charm.
