This French oak dining table was made circa 1920–1940
and represents a classic example of the Art Deco style,
with an overall proportion that is elegant and well balanced.
Checkerboard marquetry top in alternating light and dark wood tones,
forming a striking checkerboard pattern that was a highly characteristic design element of the period.
The legs combine distinctive curved and tapered lines,
creating the flowing contours commonly associated with Art Deco design.
